Vendors may sell baked goods, jams, jellies, fruit butters, and candy prepared in their own home kitchen without a permit. (items high in sugar content)
Each product must be clearly labeled and must NOT make any nutritional claims. Labels must include: Name and address of seller, name of product, ingredients in the product, and the statement in
10-point type: “This Product is Home-Produced.”
The Market Manager will follow up with all vendors selling shelled peas, pickles, canned vegetables, and sauces to insure the vendor has proper documentation of an approved kitchen.
